I built something I loved, and watched it disappear.
Before Alethia, I built a Shopify brand of my own. Lifting Lion. High-end activewear for people who took the gym seriously, made to give them a healthier identity and a community to belong to.
I loved it. I would look at what I had made and think, customers are going to love this. And they did. I still remember seeing a girl from my university wearing it around campus. I had not asked her to. She just liked it, and her face lit up when it came up. That one moment told me everything. The product was good. It was real. People wanted it.
What I did not have was a way to get it seen. It was better than most of what was already out there. I just could not get it in front of the people who would have loved it. And slowly, something I had poured myself into stopped being a business and became a passion project that did not make it.
In the end I boxed up what was left and gave it away to friends, because the customers who would have loved it never got the chance to find it.
That is why this company exists. We are not describing your problem from the outside. I have lived it, all the way to the end. And we do not want that ending for you.

Ishaan founded Lifting Lion, a high-end activewear brand built to make people healthier and give them a community to belong to. It is the brand whose story became Alethia. He then founded Lionpreneurs Media, helping mission-driven founders reach more of the customers they were built to serve.
Behrad is a serial entrepreneur who sat on the founding teams of Grover (now a unicorn) and Kenjo. For the past five years he's run Bonanza Studios, shipping dozens of products with some of the world's biggest brands and fastest-growing startups. He's the mind behind Alethia — and the one writing the code that brought it to life.
